The former personal attorney for Donald Trump has left her position as the US Attorney for New Jersey. This follows a court battle that invalidated her legal standing to serve.

Attorney General's Statement

US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, announced the prosecutor's departure on Monday. Bondi stated that the appeals court finding made it unworkable for Habba to lead the department effectively.

"Let no one confuse following the order as giving up," she wrote. "The effort will now extend throughout America."
